Welcome

My name is Marie and I am a professional actress.  From Pantomimes to classics like Hobson's Choice to BBC 1's Pitch Battle, it is so exciting to work in such a varied industry.  

Alongside my performing, I have been teaching children for several years and love encouraging their imaginations. Confidence is such a key part to life and drama is a fantastic way to nurture that in a fun way.

In the lessons, we will work towards a graded assessment. I will choose which grade to submit your child for and we will work together on the requirements. For younger children it starts off with reciting a poem and having a chat with the examiner. As they get older, it will involve performing a monologue or two (or three!) and discussing what they have learned with the examiner.

LAMDA is a great opportunity for pupils to develop their speaking skills, vocabulary and confidence - all of which are integral parts to life, whether you decide to pursue performing or not!
